The 20x60 plot is a compact plot in a dense neighbourhood with the client requiring to design a two storey structure that would eventually be rented out. The major challenge that we had while designing this plot was to provide natural light in the linear plot where the frontage was only 20 feet. To counter the challenge a light well was introduced and strategically placed to provide light and ventilation to the spaces in the heart of the plot. A contemporary approach was taken forward while designing the facade.
